It was great dealing with both these fire companies. This is the second used fire apparatus that I sold for Walnuttown, PA. The guys from Stickleyville, Virginia were super to deal with and hope to continue a friendship with them in the future. Stickleyville was looking to replace an aging LTI engine and this used unit was available. After Walnuttown took delivery of their new KME engine, this 2007 Ferrara engine became surplus and available for sale. Even though the engine wasn’t painted in Stickleyville’s colors, it did not deter them from purchasing this great piece. They are hoping in the future to wrap the engine to match their fleet of white over red. It was a very long ride back to that part of Virginia but I am told that the engine did fine.
