Top Apparatus Selling Tips

If you are replacing the said vehicle, make sure you have another piece ordered or have a replacement readily available.  There are instances where buyers would like the apparatus before your new one is in service.  And you must be prepared for this if “The Price is Right.”

Contact a broker that you feel comfortable with and will actually come out to your station to take photos, videos and gather the information needed for a quality listing.

Make sure that the apparatus is clean, both inside and out so that quality photos and videos can be taken.  Also make sure that all pump and/or aerial tests are current.  Customers LOVE current certifications.

Sold Units

South Brownsville, Pennsylvania

Congratulations to the South Brownsville Fire Company of Fayette County, PA for the purchase of this 1993 IHC/Swab walk-in Rescue. They purchased this from the Diamond Fire Company of Walnutport, PA. The funny thing is the color scheme for both companies is almost identical.

Mooreton, North Dakota

These guys from Mooreton were great to work with. Congratulations on the purchase of your 2004 American LaFrance/RD Murray tanker-pumper from the Walnuttown Fire Company of Berks County, PA. That was one heck of a trip home.
